Jennifer Montgomery Joins DHA’s Marketing Team

Jennifer Montgomery has joined Drake Haglan and Associates (DHA) as a Senior Marketing Coordinator. With more than 8 years of experience in the A/E/C industry, Jennifer has worked previously for environmental firms in both Northern and Southern California as a proposal and marketing coordinator. Jennifer brings a diverse geographical perspective to DHA with knowledge of various markets throughout California, including the Central Valley, Bay Area, Inland Empire, Los Angeles, and San Diego regions. As part of the DHA marketing team, Jennifer is leading proposal pursuit efforts for DHA’s technical disciplines, including transportation, structures, water resources, environmental, construction management, and public outreach. Jennifer’s background in proposal and interview preparation, as well as her studious attention to detail and editorial review skills are a great addition to DHA’s marketing department.

An active member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), Jennifer is currently serving on the Sacramento Chapter Membership Committee for the 2018-19 term and previously served on the Education Committee during the 2017-18 term. A recipient of the Chapter’s 2017 President’s Award, Jennifer is an exemplary volunteer that excels at organizing professional development and educational programs that encompass the Society’s six domains of practice: marketing research, marketing planning, client and business development, proposals, promotional activity, and management. Currently studying for the Society’s Certified Professional Services Marketer exam (CPSM), Jennifer plans to earn her CPSM certification this summer.

Originally from the Long Beach area, Jennifer and her husband Kent currently reside in Placerville with their daughter Brooke. When she’s not at the office or actively promoting an SMPS event, Jennifer enjoys spending quality time with her family and vacationing at Disneyland.
